Founded by California native Christina Petzke, Studio Cynara is rooted in a deep appreciation for the natural world. Growing up in Northern California and earning a degree in Architecture and Environmental Studies from the University of San Francisco, Christina draws endless inspiration from the landscapes around her — where beauty feels effortless and ever-present.

With years of experience at high-end interior design firms in San Francisco and Santa Barbara, Christina founded Studio Cynara with the intention of making exceptional design more approachable and deeply personal. Her work blends refined craftsmanship with a relaxed California sensibility, creating spaces that feel both elevated and livable — places that remind you to love where you live.

When she’s not designing, you can find Christina exploring California’s backroads with her husband Tobias on their mint green moped or mountain bikes, or savoring a good cappuccino and croissant with friends at a local coffee shop. Her love for adventure, community, and the simple pleasures of everyday life continues to inspire the warmth and authenticity behind every Studio Cynara project.
